With amazing July and August updates now officially underway, we thought we would take a few minutes of your time to dig into the updates we really think you need to embrace, especially before Black Friday!
Personalised Campaign AI
Email is a massive guessing game, and sure split tests can help insight into what ‘most’ of your audience wants. But what about those small, high-value groups of customers that fall out of the norm?
Personalised campaigns AI comes to the rescue in August with its ability to determine the best email variation to send to each customer to drive higher engagement, conversions and ROI.

Transactional SMS’s
Customers love knowing that their order is on the way. What they don’t always love is signing up for years and years of marketing texts just to have their order information available in their pocket.
The latest update coming this August allows your customers to opt into transactional SMSs without opting into marketing SMSs. This can build a great relationship with them, especially if updates on their delivery arrive sooner than they expected. It can also make them more attentive to your email marketing when it comes through, as you begin to build a stronger bond between customer and business. Before long, they may even sign up to receive your marketing texts, too.
Sign Up Form Counters
Counters on sign-up forms can show your customers in real time how many people are part of your email marketing database. Pairing this with language such as ‘100,000 people already enjoyed 10% off’ can build a sense of FOMO, making new visitors to your website all the more likely to sign up to become part of this number.
You don’t have to use discounting language if you don’t want to, either! Some other examples include:
- 30 other customers have chosen to support the world today
- 100 others have joined our local community this month
- 2,500 customers have already become part of something bigger
Testing different languages through A/B tests can help you determine which counters are the most effective for your website.
Integrate with Canva (coming soon)
This up-and-coming update is a massive one for graphic designers who create on Canva.
Now, users can design on Canva and share assets instantly with Klaviyo to streamline the creative process, make quick tweaks and get emails into your customers' inboxes quicker. It requires no manual uploads, which can, otherwise, increase email size and decrease file quality, to ensure you’re left with only the highest-value email.
Smart SMS Opt-In
Grow your email list faster by simplifying the signup process. Now, customers can receive a one-time passcode when they choose to provide you with their SMS details. This not only ensures that customers provide you with a valid SMS so they can receive their discount code, but it also pre-populates the one-time passcode if they’re using their Apple or Android phone to streamline the double-opt-in process.
TikTok Integration
Deliver more personalised TikTok ads and drive more revenue through smarter targeting. The newest integration from Klaviyo allows you to connect your TikTok audiences to your email marketing platform and sync TikTok profiles to create personalised, instant email journeys for your customers. With no delay between ad interest and welcome emails, customers are more likely to convert and purchase, helping you generate stronger ROI.
