It’s nearly August, which means the weather is changing yet again! Can you believe it? This year has gone by so quickly (but don’t they all). Just yesterday, we were telling you all of the exciting things that 2026 had in store, and now, we’re starting to close the door on it.
Around this time of year, as crazy as it sounds, customers start thinking about things like Father’s Day, Christmas and even their 2027 holidays! When they’re thinking so far into the future, they can occasionally forget about what’s happening in the now, meaning spending can take a hit if you’re not on top of your marketing!
After 7 months of talking to your database, however, you may feel like you’re pulling at strings for your next campaign idea. Friendly reminder: not every campaign needs to be life-changing or have an attached wow-factor! Sometimes, simply celebrating key calendar events and days is enough to get your customers excited again, and more importantly, ready to purchase!
Not sure which ones to target? Here are some of our favourites for this August.

Evergreen Idea: Customise Your Greetings
Your greeting is the first thing people will read in your email after your hero banner. So, are you making a great impression from the start? Greetings, like Hi, Hello and Hey, are warm, but are also what most brands use, meaning they don’t set you apart instantly. It may take a bit more reading before people really recognise who is emailing them, which can fragment relationship building.
A simple greeting change doesn’t need to be anything crazy! Swapping to something repeatable and making it your catchphrase can help build better familiarity with your database. Some of our favourites include salutations, howdy, hola and even welcome back! They aren’t huge shifts, but they add that extra friendliness and recognition you may not get otherwise.
