We are thrilled to share some exciting news that we believe will inspire and invigorate your email marketing strategies. We recently achieved an extraordinary accomplishment - shattering all previous records to generate the highest email revenue from a single campaign.
The screen shot below illustrates lots of email campaigns sent out regularly for our client, with strong open rates. And every campaign has worked hard to generate revenue.
The highly successful campaign was a "sale campaign".
So let's delve into some of the key elements of learning & strategy, that contributed to our remarkable success as we collaborated closely with our client on this.
📨 Frequency of Email Campaigns
Sometimes clients can be hesitant to send regular emails to their customers. (And on occasion we have had to gently prod them to send weekly campaigns!) We would like to reassure all business owners that your customers are willing and keen to hear from you and that is why they signed up to your list. Lacking the discipline or simply missing an opportunity to send campaigns may well result in lower revenue generated for your business.
📨 Testing a Variety of Discounts & Offers
It's important to understand what your customers want and need. Not all discounts are created equally and through the process of offering a variety of discounts at different times - your business will be able to obtain greater insight into what works for customers and for your brand. Keep in mind that discounts are strategically used and complemented with educational campaigns that add value and knowledge. Aim to strike a balance in your email strategy.
📨 Compelling Design & Copy
These elements need to be consistent to your brand identity and voice. Emails are a fabulous channel of communication and using authentic messaging will achieve greater engagement from your customers.
📨 Knowing your Target Audience and Integrity
When we say integrity, it means that our client has really been able to bring a lot of value and information to guide, inspire and share with their customer database. And when they do offer discounts, they do so in a way that is fair and with purpose. The recent campaign that achieved their greatest revenue to date had a clear objective and this was shared transparently with their customers in the messaging. It also mentioned offering their "biggest sale ever" and this was not just promotional jargon and empty promises. There was real value in the sale and customers knew it. This is also a great way to build loyalty in the long run.
At the end of the day, we feel so lucky to work with wonderful clients. They know what their business needs and we partner alongside them to bring their vision to life with exciting email campaigns that generate some serious revenue!
